Saint-Gaudens' Legacy
|
In the years since Saint-Gaudens' death, numerous books have been
written about the artist and his works. His sculptures are exhibited in
museums around the world, and contemporary interest in his work is
growing. In 1999, a major retrospective, originating from the
Saint-Gaudens National Historic Site, was exhibited in Toulouse and
Blerancourt, France, the first such exhibition
of Saint-Gaudens' works in Europe since 1900.
