Eva Rohr, 1872 Eva Rohr (died 1916) was traveling in Europe with her sister Hannah Rohr Tuffs when they met Saint-Gaudens. Hannah commissioned the sculptor to create a cameo portrait of herself, and this bust of her sister. This was the first of Saint-Gaudens large portraits executed for a patron. The care with which the sculptor detailed the back of the piece (left) would become characteristic of Saint-Gaudens' work, particularly in his execution of public monuments.
